Practicing the craft of personal lawyering

Holmes Law Offices PLLC prides itself on the relationship it establishes with its clients.  "Practicing the Craft of Personal Lawyering" is not a slogan, it is an accurate description of the type of attorney-client relationship that distinguishes this law firm from others.  Clients are treated with the personal attention they deserve.

Gregory A. Holmes

Greg earned his JD degree from the Columbus School of Law of the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C.  After graduating and spending a year as the law clerk for Justice Edward Lampron, Chief Justice of the New Hampshire Supreme Court, Greg began his long legal career in private practice at a major Manchester, New Hampshire law firm, Wiggin & Nourie, P.A., where he maintained a litigation practice.  He also devoted a significant amount of time on the firm’s business, including serving as president of the firm for a number of years.  Greg opened his own firm in 2010 in order to better serve his clients.

As a member of the New Hampshire, Vermont and Massachusetts bars, Greg represents auto, truck, and motorcycle dealers throughout the New England region.  He represents dealers in franchise related issues as well as regulatory and compliance matters.  In addition to litigation in court, he appears regularly before the New Hampshire Motor Vehicle Industry Board.

In addition to representing dealers, Greg’s firm counsels and represents other organizations on the franchisee side of the dealer/manufacturer relationship.  An important part of Greg’s practice involves counseling automobile dealer associations throughout New England.  He has drafted numerous state statutes regulating the franchise relationship between dealer and manufacturers and has testified at legislative hearings in support of those statutes.  He also frequently makes presentations to dealers on various legal issues at dealer association sponsored events.  Greg also serves as counsel for a New England dealer advertising association.
